Woodbrook Elementary School Partners

The following partners recently contributed to Woodbrook programs. 


Chestnut Grove Baptist Church-Youth Girls Group
Put together school supply kits for students who are unable to purchase their school supplies.
University Baptist Church
Donates hygiene kits, school supplies, gift cards for shoes and clothes.
Portico Church
Work weekly to put together weekend food bags for our families in need. Also collaborate with us to provide childcare and support at all school functions so that our parents can participate in events rather than facilitate events, like our Fun Fair and Field Day.
Whole Foods
Works in collaboration with Portico Church to supply our families with weekend food bags.
Charlottesville Ballet Center
Partners with us to offer an after school Ballet Club weekly to more than 25 of our students.
Carson Raymond Foundation
Partners with our kindergarten team to offer T-Ball clinic yearly to all kindergarten students. Also provide opportunities for our students to engage in a UVA Baseball Camp each year.
Service Dogs of Virginia
SDV/SPCA bring dogs and cats to school each week to partner with struggling readers to provide an authentic opportunity for students to read a book.
Playing Aces Chess
Volunteer weekly during our After School Clubs to provide students to learn the game of chess and bring tournament opportunities to our students to engage in.
Madison House Boosters
Volunteer in classroom across the school to support classroom instruction.
State Farm
Provide funds through employee volunteer hours that are logged at Woodbrook to off-set cost of field trips.
JABA Fish Volunteers
Serve as individual volunteers to students in classrooms throughout the school to support instruction in a way that promotes differentiation.
Triple C Camp
Team building at the beginning of the school year with the entire 5th grade, and throughout the school year with our Student Leadership Team.
Green Adventure Outdoors
Through volunteers, students work to deepen their understanding of the science, math and language arts curriculum through project-based learning opportunities.
Wildlife Center of Virginia
Provide in-school learning opportunities to students at all grade levels to enhance the science curriculum.
Virginia Museum of Natural History
Provide in-school learning opportunities to students at all grade levels to enhance the social studies curriculum.
United Way
Provides support to help beautify the school on annual basis through the Day of Caring.
University of Virginia Boosters
Individual Mentors to students as well as classroom instructional support.
