The Habitat Store (Volunteer)

Virginia Discovery Museum (Volunteer)
We are looking for enthusiastic teenagers to serve as Museum volunteers over the summer. If you enjoy working with kids and are interested in science, history, and art, this is an excellent opportunity to gain some work experience while having fun. The Virginia Discovery Museum offers hands-on exhibits for children ages 1-10 and their families. Located at the east end of the Downtown Mall near the Pavilion, the Museum is open Monday-Saturday, 10-5. Complete a volunteer application form and submit by June 1. Participate a Museum tour and orientation session. Commit to volunteering for a minimum of 20 hours at the Museum over the summer. Volunteers come in for 2-hour blocks, usually once or twice a week-there are opportunities available weekdays and weekends. Volunteers may also participate in our Summer Camps. Albemarle County Building Services (Custodian)
