ACPS will develop long range plans to address anticipated overcrowding issues.

• Continued to produce long range planning biannual reports (the next report will be available in 2024)

Objective 3.2, Strategy 2, of Learning for All states:

ACPS will partner with the local government to align and overlap strategies to fully fund capital projects.

The following work around this strategy was completed in the 2022-23 school year:

• Held monthly meetings with School Board members and staff representatives
• Developed joint legislative priorities

Objective 3.2, Strategy 3, of Learning for All states:

ACPS will develop and implement a criteria and cycle for renovations and improvements to ensure equitable and contemporary facilities as well as sustainable practices.

The following work around this strategy was completed in the 2022-23 school year:

• Developed a cross-functional team to determine baseline criteria of what each facility should have at a minimum and in what condition (e.g. play areas, furniture)
