Classified Hourly Employee Town Hall
On September 3, 2020, the ACPS Human Resources team presented information relevant to classified hourly employees about returning to work under Stage 2 of our Return to School plan. Topics of discussion included: regular work vs. alternate work, definitions, work options for Stage 2, health insurance, and other helpful information.

COVID-19 Employee Safety Training
All employees were required to complete COVID-19 Employee Safety Training by September 8, 2020. This two-step process involved watching a 22-minute training video and completing a form to certify that you viewed the training video.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Staff
In order to protect our employees from the COVID-19 virus, ACPS will provide personal protective equipment (PPE) and related supplies to staff. Please refer to the ACPS COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Protocol (ACPS Google login required) for details on the types of PPE available to staff, how to request PPE, and PPE care and use.
Staff Child Care Program (SCCP)
The ACPS Staff Child Care Program (SCCP), which opened on September 8, 2020, will operate each school day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as long as virtual learning is the primary form of instruction for ACPS students. Please note: The SCCP is limited to children aged 4-12. Employees do not need to be residents of Albemarle County, and participants do not need to be students of Albemarle County Public Schools.
