Based on input from leaders across ACPS and community interests, Albemarle Foundation for Education will prioritize grant-making that address the following opportunities, in alignment to the ACPS mission and strategic plan, Learning for All.

Learn & Thrive

Academic Success - Support innovative academic initiatives for equitable and high student outcomes.

Deep Engagement - Expand ACPS students' opportunities in deeper learning, career pathways, out-of-school field trips and extracurricular activities.

Family and Community Engagement - Support adult family and community members in advancing ACPS students' learning and success.

Relationships & Mental Health - Help educators fortify social and emotional connections and strengthen the responses of children and youth to adversity.

Strong Families - Help ACPS address families' essential needs, and attain support such as mentoring or tutoring, enrichment, child care or other services available in the community.

Educator Appreciation - Support initiatives that award and celebrate educators and staff for their commitment.
