Recertification Point Requests Overview
This process will replace the use of the paper Independent Recertification Request Form.
1. Discuss your PD plans with your principal prior to completion.
2. The option for Independent Credit Requests is to be completed at the end of a course/conference/activity (just as before). For each submission, supporting documentation of attendance and/or completion are required.
3. Once submitted, our Licensure Specialist will receive the request for approval. Once approved, the appropriate points will be reflected on your transcript.
4. Course Credit submissions must include electronic official transcript.
If you have completed an ACPS internal professional learning activity where points will be automatically assigned by the instructor, you will not need to complete this process.
