Description

The ACPS History and Social Science Curriculum Framework for grades K-12 integrates ACPS Essential Standards for Social Studies and the Virginia Department Standards of Learning. While the Virginia Standards for Learning provide the content for study, the ACPS Essential Standards articulate central concepts that spiral in complexity and critical skills that are at the heart of working in the social sciences.
