How Can You Help

Money can help in hard times and so can a sympathetic ear or a helping hand. Every one of us has gifts to share.

Thanks to the BAMA Works Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation for support of Families in Crisis.

"Thank You" to Our Supporters

Since December 2005, Families in Crisis has given away over $7,000 in gift certificates and thousands of dollars worth of donated school supplies to homeless families in our community. Your donations go directly to help these families. We could not provide these extra services/resources to families without your help. Thank you!

Womenade

The Womenade fundraiser was held March 19, 2006 at Monticello High School. The event raised well over $8,000 for the Families in Crisis Program. Dr. Patricia Popp from Project Hope, Office of Virginia Homeless Education, shared information about the issue of homelessness in our community. Attendees enjoyed a special performance by Terri Allard as well as artwork by Nancy Galloway and Monticello and Albemarle High School art students. Thank you to all those who helped to make the event such a success.
