International Exchange Program

Here is CSIET's list of all certified programs​. 

CSIET stands for "Council on Standards for International Educational Travel."  You can learn more about CSIET on their web site.

All initial requests and applications are handled by the International & EL Welcome Center.  If a student is accepted, then the program representative will be notified when to make contact with the school.  Read more about our ACPS International Exchange Student Expectations and Application Process.

We typically have no more than three to four international exchange spaces available at each school, depending on the space available, for a total of up to 10 spaces in the division.

Preference is given to students who will be with us for an entire academic year, although we do accept students who only wish to stay for one semester, if space is available.

All required documentation must be received no later than June 1 for fall semester consideration and by November 1 for the spring semester.  Please be advised that our spaces tend to fill up before these deadlines.

International exchange program representatives should upload their applications and required documentation to the ACPS International Exchange Student Applications Google Form and then contact the International & EL Welcome Center at 434-296-6517 to let them know that the application is ready for review.​
