EDEP Registration
Thank you for your interest in Albemarle County Public Schools' Extended Day Enrichment Programs (EDEP)!
EDEP serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade who are currently enrolled in an Albemarle County elementary school. Based on the 2025-26 School Year Calendar, EDEP offers the following programs:
- After School Enrichment Program (ASEP):
- ASEP will operate each full school day at every elementary school. The program runs from school dismissal until 6 p.m. Families can choose full-time (4-5 days per week) or part-time (1-3 days per week) enrollment. ASEP does not operate on half-days.
- Student Holiday Program (SHP):
- SHP will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on student holidays when teachers are working. SHP will be hosted at Agnor Elementary School, except on November 4, 2025, when it will be hosted at Greer Elementary School.
Registration Process
Space is limited. Enrollment will depend on staff availability and the space at each school. To keep the process fair, EDEP will use a random selection (lottery drawing) to offer available spots. If you would like your child to be included in the lottery, please register during the window for your child’s school:
April 18 at 8 a.m. Agnor |
April 25 at 8 a.m. to Baker-Butler |
How to register for the lottery
- If your child is already enrolled in Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) or has been assigned a PowerSchool ID number, please follow these steps to enter the EDEP lottery:
- Log in to or create your MySchoolBucks account at MySchoolBucks.com.
- Add your student(s) to your account, if you haven’t already.
- Register for the EDEP lottery at MSBactivities.com using your MySchoolBucks username and password.
- Choose your child’s school from the drop-down menu to register for the After School Enrichment Program (ASEP).
- Choose “Student Holiday-EDEP” from the drop-down menu to register for the Student Holiday Program (SHP).
- If you are interested in both programs, you must complete a separate registration for each.
- If your child is new to Albemarle County Public Schools and does not have a PowerSchool ID number:
- Please complete this EDEP Lottery Registration Form for each child you are registering.
- This form allows you to register your child for the After School Enrichment Program (ASEP), the Student Holiday Program (SHP), or both.
IMPORTANT: Completing the Student Information Form does not guarantee enrollment.
Lottery Results and Next Steps

Important Information
- Extended Day Enrichment Programs (EDEP) are available to students in Kindergarten through Grade 5; however, students must be 5 years old before they can attend the EDEP. Kindergartners who are 4 may be registered, but they cannot attend until they turn 5.
- All accounts must be current (no outstanding balances) prior to registering for the 2025-2026 school year.
- We will void any registration if it contains false or misleading information.
- The 2025-2026 school year consists of ten (10) cycles, with billing occurring once per month from July 2025 through April 2026. The selected after-school program attendance option must be purchased every month to secure your child's space.
- The days of the week your child will attend must be selected at the time of registration. For additional information on attendance, refer to the EDEP Parent Handbook
- Services will be suspended for those with outstanding payments of five (5) school days until balances are paid in full. Registration will be inactive, and the student will be placed at the end of a waitlist. Readmission is subject to space availability and will incur a $20 reinstatement fee.
- EDEP does not operate if school closes earlier than the regular dismissal time. Please make certain your child’s school has current information regarding where your child should go in the event of an early closing.
