Public Portion of April 24 School Board Meeting Canceled Due to Power Outage

MEDIA ADVISORY

(ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Virginia)—The public portion of tonight’s Albemarle County School Board meeting, originally scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., has been canceled due to a power outage at the County Office Building on McIntire Road.

The division has been advised by the power company that restoration is not expected until approximately 10 p.m. As a result, the Board will not convene publicly this evening.

Additional information will be shared as it becomes available, including any rescheduling details.
