Know an Outstanding School Teacher? Nominate them for the Golden Apple Award!

What: Albemarle County Public Schools, Charlottesville City Public Schools, area private schools and Better Living Building Supplies invite community members to nominate outstanding teachers for the annual Golden Apple Award, which recognizes excellence in teaching and dedication to student success.

When: Nominations are open now through Monday, January 26, 2026.

How: Visit k12albemarle.org/golden-apple for nomination forms and additional details. Anyone—students, parents, colleagues, or community members—may submit a nomination online.
