What:
Albemarle County Public Schools will host a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction for Mountain View Upper Elementary School. The event will feature remarks from school division leaders, local officials, and community representatives, as well as participation from current Mountain View Elementary School students, who will help break ground during the ceremony.

Details:
- Attendees are asked to park at the Monticello High School bus loop, where a shuttle service will be available to transport them to the new school site.
- In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be rescheduled for Monday, February 10, 2025, at 1 p.m.
