Empowering Families: Power of Attorney Workshop

What: Prepare for unforeseen circumstances involving immigration enforcement

What You’ll Learn:

  • Designate a temporary guardian for children.
  • Organize financial and property documentation.
  • Navigate the Power of Attorney process to protect your assets and loved ones.

Participants are encouraged to bring the following:

  • Official identification (passport, consular ID, or state-issued photo ID)
  • Birth certificates for children and family members (if available)
  • Bank account information (names of banks and account numbers)
  • Property titles (vehicles, real estate, and other assets)
  • Lease agreements (for rental properties)
  • Vehicle documents (titles, registrations)
  • Children’s details (full legal names, birthdates, and contact details for a potential temporary guardian)
