COVID-19 Vaccination Interest Survey and Town Hall Meeting (Tonight!)

Dear Families and Staff:

Our local Blue Ridge Health District (BRHD) plans to offer COVID-19 vaccines to children ages 5-11 once the CDC has approved the vaccine for emergency use. Vaccines for this group could be available in limited quantities as soon as the second week of November. For planning purposes, the BRHD is asking parents/guardians to complete this vaccination interest survey by Thursday, November 4. The survey is completely anonymous. The health district will use your input to determine when and where to offer vaccine clinics.

Also, this evening at 7 p.m., the health district will host a live virtual town hall to discuss COVID-19 booster shots and vaccines for children ages 5-11. If you would like to attend tonight’s COVID-19 Town Hall, please click here to register. Participants will be able to ask questions live, or you can click here to submit up to three questions in advance.

For more information about the vaccination interest survey and/or tonight’s live town hall, please view the most recent BRHD COVID-19 Update Newsletter.

Thank you.
