Dear Parents and Guardians,
Albemarle County Public Schools is excited to announce that online Student Registration Verification for the 2021-22 school year is now open! This annual process allows parents to review and make changes to the registration information we have on file for your student(s). It also provides parents with the opportunity to respond to required annual agreements and permissions.
Your verification is now ready for your review in the PowerSchool Parent Portal!
How to Get Started:
- If you already have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account, please go to https://sis.k12albemarle.org/ and sign in to the Parent Portal. (If you do not yet have a Parent Portal account, please contact your child’s school.)
- From within the Parent Portal, select the student you wish to update along the top.
- Click on the Student Registration Verification button on the left sidebar. (Alternately, you may click on the Applications icon in the top-right corner and then select Student Registration Verification.)
- Enter your student's date of birth to verify access to the form.
- Follow the prompts to begin the form.
- Review all information on each page and make changes where necessary.
- Submit a verification form for each of your students.

Please note: Only students attending an ACPS elementary, middle or high school will complete registration verification using this method. Students served by Ivy Creek, CSA, or our special education program will not participate in this online verification process.

Este proceso anual permite a los padres revisar y realizar cambios en la información de registro que tenemos en el archivo de su(s) estudiante(s). También brinda a los padres la oportunidad de responder a los acuerdos y permisos anuales requeridos.
¡Su verificación ahora está lista para su revisión en el Portal de Padres de PowerSchool!
Cómo Empezar:
- Si ya tiene una cuenta en el Portal para Padres (Parent Portal) de PowerSchool, vaya a https://sis.k12albemarle.org/ e inicie sesión en el Portal para Padres. (Si aún no tiene una cuenta en el Portal de Padres, comuníquese con la escuela de su hijo).
- Desde el Portal de Padres, seleccione el estudiante que desea actualizar en la parte superior.
- Haga clic en el botón Verificación de Registro de Estudiantil (Student Registration Verification) en la barra lateral izquierda. (Alternativamente, puede hacer clic en el icono de Aplicaciones en la esquina superior derecha y luego seleccionar Verificación de Registro de Estudiantil).
- Haga clic en el icono en inglés (English) y elija español (Spanish) para completar el formulario en español.
- Ingrese la fecha de nacimiento de su estudiante para verificar el acceso al formulario.
- Siga las indicaciones para comenzar el formulario.
- Revise toda la información en cada página y realice cambios cuando sea necesario.
- Envíe un formulario de verificación para cada uno de sus estudiantes.
