The University of Virginia Student Council is offering free 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions for students in Albemarle County Public Schools. Specifically, the Community Engagement Agency within UVA's Student Council has gathered 150+ undergraduate students to serve as volunteer tutors.
The group offers tutoring in kindergarten through 12-grade subjects, as well as PSAT, SAT, and ACT test prep using a seamless online website that allows tutees to browse all available tutors to find one that fits best for them. Tutees can also choose when and how often they’d like to be tutored.
Tutees can book sessions at https://www.tutormatchingservice.com/UVASCTI by clicking on “Sign Up” in the top right corner and following the prompted instructions from there. Tutees are free to book sessions in any subject and as frequently as they’d like — in fact, it is encouraged!
Note that there are two options when creating student profiles. (1) A parent can create a profile and book tutors for their children. (2) Each child can create their own individual profile and book tutors through their profile.
