Panorama Survey Information

Albemarle County Public Schools uses Panorama for the administration of our school climate surveys. The school climate surveys will focus on the following five to six topics;

  1. sense of belonging,
  2. school safety;
  3. value of school,
  4. rigorous expectations,
  5. school climate, and
  6. cultural awareness.

Secondary students will complete all six topics and elementary schools will only be completing topics one through five. The topic of cultural awareness is only administered to secondary students. In transitioning to Panorama surveys, we have access to nationally normed data and Albemarle County Public Schools will be able to compare this data to other school districts similar to our own.

Albemarle County Public Schools also gives a survey to all families once per year to understand their perspectives on their students' schools. In 2024, more than 2,000 families responded to the survey. More on response rates and representation can be found in our Panorama Family Survey Implementation Report. Check out our Family Response Analysis to see how ACPS is responding to your feedback!
