GREEN TEACHER OF THE MONTH

This monthly award goes to teachers and staff who promote environmentally friendly concerns in their classrooms through programs and curriculum.

OCTOBER 2011: Ms. Baber's Functional Skills class at Jouett Middle School helped to increase recycling rates.

Last year, Jouett collected 2100 cans and bottles even though we were separating and counting all classroom, cafeteria,  and office collections by type of material.  So far this year, Jouett has collected 3559 cans and bottles and that’s just counting their green and gold collection bins.
