Scottsville Tiger Camp: Campers’ Exposition

Friday, July 20, 2018, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Scottsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, 805 Irish Rd., Scottsville, VA 24590

Scottsville Elementary School students in grades kindergarten through five who are enrolled in the Scottsville Tiger Camp this week are invited to participate in this special event on Friday, July 20, from 10 a.m. until noon at the Scottsville Volunteer Rescue Squad. Parents and community members are invited to attend as well.

This week, Albemarle County Public Schools’ Office of Community Engagement is hosting the Scottsville Tiger Camp, a free, half-day camp for school children in grades kindergarten through five, at the Scottsville Volunteer Rescue Squad. Under the theme, “Explore Imagination Through Storytelling,” participants are sharing their creative storybook ideas with community mentors, leading to a special exposition this Friday, July 20, that will include the Scottsville Center for Arts and Nature.
