 "American Dream" Performance

Mr. White and the fifth grade classes had a dress performance of "American Dream", a chronicle of American history as a musical drama.  Students gave a rousing performance before their peers. Congrats to Mr. White as well for  developing talent in our students and for selecting performaces which support the lessons students are learning in the classroom.  For a sneak preview of the performance, click here.

Learning to Spell Can Be Fun
If calling out spelling words each week is a chore, enter the words on this site so the fun and learning can begin!  One of our staff members discovered this site through a friend and highly recommends it.  She says, "It's a free site for kids to practice their spelling words.  The site will say the word (a real human voice) and use it in a sentence.  They can play games with the words and take a quiz on them too!  It's very well done."  Some of the students in Mr. Wilson's class tried it today and liked it very much.

The site has been added to the library research page.  While you're there, look at the many online encyclopedias, dictionaries, and databases that will help your students with assignments and research.
